Insane OG

Insane OG is an indica-dominant hybrid with powerful effects and a complex, deep aroma profile. The strain was developed by Barney’s Farm in collaboration with B-Real from Cypress Hill and genetically combines three heavyweights of the cannabis scene: OG Kush, Bubba Kush, and Granddaddy Purple. The result is a strain characterized by intense aroma, high resin production, and vigorous growth. The plants grow upright, strong, and develop dense, resinous buds with a greenish tint. Under ideal conditions, Insane OG can reach heights of up to 2.5 meters outdoors, while it remains more compact in an indoor setup – around 1.5 meters tall. The flowering time is medium and lasts about 56–63 days. Depending on location and care, yields of up to 1.5 to 2 kg per plant outdoors are possible – an impressive performance that also makes this strain interesting for ambitious growers. The structure of the buds is firm and compact. They are completely covered with trichomes, making them not only visually appealing but also highly interesting for extract production. The bouquet of this strain is rich: earthy and spicy notes blend with sweet-fruity elements, complemented by a hint of diesel and ripe grapes. A fine skunk undertone rounds off the complex aroma profile.
