Laughing Buddha

Laughing Buddha is a legendary Sativa strain developed by Barney’s Farm through the targeted crossing of Thai and Jamaican landraces. This combination brings out the best of both tropical genetics: The strain shows a typical, sativa-dominant growth pattern – tall, slender, and elegant, with long internodes and airy foliage. The plants can easily grow beyond 1.5 meters and therefore require sufficient space as well as experience in handling vigorously growing Sativa lines. During the flowering phase, long, dense buds develop, glowing in a rich green color and covered with a fine layer of sparkling trichomes. The flowering cycle is rather long for a pure Sativa, lasting over 65 days, which is compensated by the abundant yields of up to large quantities. Laughing Buddha prefers warm, tropical conditions and is therefore especially suitable for indoor cultivation under strong lighting or for regions with long, stable summers. Its yields are generous, and the plants reward the grower with high resin production and a lush amount of aromatic buds.
